Great supporters help make connections

Close your eyes, think about a special moment in your life, who did you celebrate it with? Who did you call to share in the joy with? Was it a particular friend or group of friends? Or in those darker moments, who was around you to support you?

For over a decade, John-Paul has faithfully phoned his friend Steven (a man we work for) twice weekly, to say ‘hello’ and ask ‘how are you?’. For over a decade, Steven has been inviting John-Paul to his home to enjoy lunch together, swap stories, chat about football or enjoy role playing games together.

Steven and John-Paul connected when John Paul was invited along by a mutual acquaintance to a party to celebrate Steven’s 50th birthday. From that evening on, John-Paul & Steven have been faithful friends.
