New C-Change Trustees / Board Members Wanted
C-Change is a people-powered organisation. We focus on nurturing respectful relationships with the people we work for, their families, our colleagues, and the communities in which we work.
We help people who need some additional support in their life, whether that’s a young person or an adult. We help families too. No one is too ‘difficult’ or ‘complicated’, and we are particularly good at working with people who are very specific about how they like, and need, to be supported.
For 20 years we have worked alongside individuals, and the people who know and love them, to plan for a better future and to support dreams and aspirations to become a reality. We also want to ensure that everyone who works for the organisation has opportunities to flourish and develop.
C-Change is an intentional organisation; growth is not our primary focus. We want to sustain the organisation by being better and doing better. We explicitly adopt a Human Rights Based approach to our work.
As we step into our next decade we are looking to increase and strengthen our Board of Trustees. We want to hear from people who also believe that better is possible, and who may have additional skills/knowledge and/or experience in the following areas:
- Unpaid caring
- Care experience
The role of Trustee / Board Member may be carried out online or in person, subject to Covid guidance.
We will be recruiting new Trustee members throughout the full month of February.
