Former resident Colin Young at grounds of the former hospital
Former Residents of Lennox Castle taking part in our project with Project Ability ‘Remembering Lennox Castle’ braved the initial bad weather to visit the site of the former hospital on Friday 29th of June. This was the fist time back to this site for more than a decade for many, sparking memories of what life was like when they resided there. The group exchanged stories enthusiastically as we explored the grounds, part of which is now a major training facility for Celtic F.C.
Thank you to Celtic F.C. for letting us access their training grounds for our visit & thank you again to all our participants in this wonderful project.
The first workshop in block three took place on Friday 6th of July. Further workshops will take place this month on Friday 13th, Friday 20th & Friday 27th from 10am – 12:30pm at Project Ability’s Base in Trongate 103.
