dates-n-mates Aberdeen Launch

Published: June 20, 2015

dates-n-mates Aberdeen is now officially up and running. The launch of our exciting new dates-n-mates project took place on Friday 19th of June, with a Civic Reception held at the city’s historic Council Town House followed by a fantastic party at the city’s Rox Hotel.

dates-n-mates Aberdeen Directors Sarah & Bruce were joined by local Councillor Jim Kiddie who all gave fantastic speeches. Among those attending to mark the launch of the project in the city was former MP Dame Anne Begg – who has campaigned for disability rights and inclusion throughout her political career.

The launch party at the Rox Hotel held later that evening was a highly anticipated and fully sold out event with over 150 in attendance. There was a fantastic atmosphere from the very start – the dance floor was never seen to be empty! People danced away to some great tunes played by local band Coda and DJ Kit Kat Kenny.

It was a fantastic evening, getting the message out there that dates-n-mates has now landed in Aberdeen!
