The Shine Partnership – Get onside

Published: September 16, 2015

The Shine Partnership are showing an exhibition of photographs and film capturing the success of the projects Get Onside initiative.

Get Onside uses a variety of sports as a way of helping individuals and their families develop confidence in taking more control over their lives. Sporting activities have included football, Rugby and Cricket.

The exhibition was launched on Wednesday 16th of September.

Many people came to the launch event, including former Rangers and Scotland football star Barry Ferguson. Barry has been involved in coaching the Get Onside football group and has said that it is one of the most enjoyable things he has done in his football career.

This will be exhibited in gallery 2 at the Trongate 103 Centre for Arts & Creativity until Sunday 25th of October.

Get Onside has been documented by photographer Brian Carroll and filmed by the media team of the inclusive arts organisation Project Ability.

Club LATE – September 2015

Published: September 12, 2015

LATE was back with a bang on the 9th of September! This was our 9th LATE night and the first to take place at our brand new venue, The O2ABC!

LATE kicked off at 7:30pm with DJ’s playing right up until Midnight.

Once again LATE welcomed back Capital FM DJ Garry Spence and resident DJ John-Paul.

With 170 clubbers, a packed dance-floor and great atmosphere, we are delighted to say the night was a massive success!

We had some great feedback on the new venue – a big thumbs up all round.

dates-n-mates member Sinead told us;

“I wouldn’t change anything about LATE, I love coming here! I have been to the ABC before and it’s a nice venue. I love the LATE night”
