C-Change is part of the Scottish Government funded ‘The Life I Want’ Public Social Partnership. This project is seeking to generate an innovative redesign of support opportunities for people with learning disabilities across Glasgow, with the purpose of giving people more choice and control in their lives.

The Life I Want is a unique partnership of people with learning disabilities, their families and carers, local authority staff and third sector organisations, all working side by side.
The project has split into 4 main work-streams, each addressing a different topic: Health, Work, Relationships and Transitions.

C-Change and dates-n-mates lead the ‘Relationships’ work-stream, aiming to identify and tackle barriers which prevent people from having good and positive relationships. In order to achieve practical results, this group is focused on 3 specific areas: transport and buildings; linking people together; and awareness raising.

This work is ongoing and is funded to continue until at least 2018.
