Being Human: Human Rights & Self Directed Support Conference
C-Change will be hosting an afternoon conference on Human Rights & Self Directed Support (SDS) taking place from 1pm – 5pm (registration 1pm – 1.30pm) on Thursday 23rd November 2017 at Airdrie Town Hall, North Lanarkshire.
The conference will have a particular focus on the topics of equalities, transitions and supported decision making.
We invite you to take advantage of our Early Bird Ticket Offer of £15 per ticket available until Monday 6th of November. Tickets will be £30 thereafter.
This event is free for C-Change Scotland staff and the people the organisation work for as well as members of dates-n-mates.
The afternoon will offer the opportunity to hear from some of Scotland’s leading figures in this area, including Iona Colvin, Chief Social Work Advisor to The Scottish Government, Morag Dendy, North Lanarkshire Health & Social Care Partnership, Chris Creegan, CEO SCLD and Lucy Mulvagh, Director of Policy and Communications at The Health and Social Care Alliance Scotland (The Alliance).

The conference will be of particular interest to anyone working in the health and social care sector, as well as those interested in the political and academic aspects of this subject.
Further to this, we can provide those attending a designated space to display their organisations information.
