Job Description:

Ben is a young man who is due to move into his own home in the Glenmavis area of Airdrie. He is a sociable and friendly person who loves watching football and going out with friends. Ben is keen to recruit both males and females for his team but the ideal candidate must be keen on watching football, be patient and be able to motivate Ben to make good life choices. This is important to Ben as he wants to work with people who share similar interests and who will help him to achieve his goals in life.

Qualifications: Appropriate SSSC required qualifications or have a willingness to work towards these.

Term: Permanent (Following successful probationary review after 6 months).

Holiday Entitlement: 30 days annual leave (inclusive of public holidays).

A PVG (Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme) check is required for this position.

Applicants should hold an SVQ2 or SVQ3 in Health and Social Care or be willing to commit to this training in order to meet the requirements for registration to the Scottish Social Services Council and be registered within 6 months of taking up employment.
