Hi, my name is Marilyn and I live in the Tollcross area of Glasgow. I am a middle aged woman and live in my own home.
I am looking for an enthusiastic female Personal Development Worker to support me to live the life I choose. I would like her to work alongside my current team to support me to explore my community and pursue new interests. It is important to me that I am supported to maintain my health and well being, my tenancy and relationships. I have limited mobility and require support with my wheelchair to get around. I would like to recruit someone who has a good sense of humour and a fun outlook on life.
A driver would also be desirable.

Qualifications: Appropriate SSSC required qualifications or have a willingness to work towards these.
Term: Permanent (Following successful probationary review after 6 months).
Holiday Entitlement: 30 days annual leave (inclusive of public holidays).

A PVG (Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme) check is required for this position.
Applicants should hold an SVQ2 or SVQ3 in Health and Social Care or be willing to commit to this training in order to meet the requirements for registration to the Scottish Social Services Council and be registered within 6 months of taking up employment.
