Job Description:

Hi, my name is Peter. I am in my early 30’s and I am looking for people to support me with social activities in my local community. I enjoy doing a lot of different things including listening to music, bingo, playing the drums, running and going to the gym as I really like keeping fit.

I am a really keen runner and I am looking at maintaining my physical health through competing in local running events. I am working towards keeping a regular healthy diet and I also volunteer at a local community centre.

I like people who have a good sense of humour, are active and have similar interests as myself. I am looking for someone to go to events with me and support me when I have upcoming running events. I am looking for people to support me 5 days and one evening a week. I would like people who support me to be relaxed, outgoing and to have some banter with me.

Qualifications: Appropriate SSSC required qualifications or have a willingness to work towards these.

Term: Permanent (Following successful probationary review after 6 months).

Holiday Entitlement: 30 days annual leave (inclusive of public holidays).

A PVG (Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme) check is required for this position.

Applicants should hold an SVQ2 or SVQ3 in Health and Social Care or be willing to commit to this training in order to meet the requirements for registration to the Scottish Social Services Council and be registered within 6 months of taking up employment.
